Not heard or read of 1 person questioning the set up of the England camp/hotel set up,he is our player handed over to England to be nurtured & taken care of, this would not of happened if it where a City pre season tour, definitely a mistake to allow two young lads to room together on their England debuts, that alone is an opportunity for stewardship by a senior player, if it transpires they visited another part of the hotel then that is also down to bad planning by the FA, this is a billion pound squad during a pandemic where is the security? I take it this didn’t happen in the wee hours as no curfew was broken, come on people This is the FA we are talking about!

he left the bubble & could of spoke or met anybody out of that bubble who had Covid. If he didn’t need to isolate what would be the point of being in bubbles & sent home.

Isn’t the bubble just for the international trip?

Don’t think City players back home are in a bubble are they? If they are they’d have to be in a hotel away from their families

I would have thought he only has to isolate if he tests positive? I might be wrong?

Phils lucky he was with a rag - he'd be properly hung out otherwise.For me the misdeeds go in the following order:

• Being mates with a rag
• Going on the town with said rag
• breaking covid rules
• possibly drinking on England duty
• Bringing slappers back
• Not sending Yaya pics.

Because some people seem to think that players have to isolate for 14 days every single time they step into a shop or a restaurant (or, god forbid, another hotel room). If he passes a test when he gets back, he'll be allowed to train, just like all the other City players currently returning back to the country.

so why have bubbles in the first place ?

I understand your point & kind of agree with you. But he has a greater responsibility to most especially with the financial cost of his team & club. it can take 14 days to show up in any test. Pep will not risk him near other players at the start of the season, especially under these circumstances. I can see Pep using this time to punish him
