I remember him getting hold of the mike at the end of season parade on Deansgate back in May, and making some rambling incoherent speech (I think he started to sing?).

My missus used to look after his kids who go to the local school here in Sale, so if he was dropping them off, I used to literally chase him down the street to try and wring some insider info from him on the club, but the bugger's faster than me tho :-)

im sure, as with the playing staff, they only leave if we are happy for them to leave, and have replacements lined up.

sounds a bit sinister that 1st line, lol!!, but you catch my drift. we generally keep hold of the players and back staff that we want.
