Piccadilly to COMS

It's one of them walks that don't seem that bad until you actually do it. I don't know of any other way other than the one your doing. It takes me about 20 minutes. It's a twat really. Could be worse. You could be walking from Victoria.

£1 on the 216 takes about 5 minutes to get there. theres always plenty of buses aswell so you never have to wait. best way imhavwo.

From Piccadily bus stop get the 216 mate and that drops you right outside the stadium!!

Cheers pal, anyone know how much in a taxi?

Getting there is a piece of cake, getting back is the problem. After the Burnley game with no buses running for nearly an hour and it pissing with rain, I watched 4 lads share a taxi back to Piccadilly from the ground for £50. I walked it with my missus, got pissed wet through to my underpants and it took 30 minutes.

Trying not to sound like a idiot, but where do you get the bus from?

Buses in Manchester are not really my area of, er, expertise?

Outside Wetherspoons across from kro bar or one of those bus stops. Youll see plenty of people in blue getting on you'll know thats the bus. Goes to Tameside.

Fifty bleedin quid?

Tip: don't dawdle coming out of the match - get out as quick as you can, get over the road onto Ashton New Road to the bus stop; there'll be up to 8 or 9 buses going into town. As long as you get on one of them you'll be ok. As otherwise yes you'll wait for ages for the next one!

fifty pounds;in a taxi -they must have been burnley fans going home to lancashire. block 132 is where that manchester airport black cabs flag hangs;over the service tunnel.
