Chelsea?

yes...kicked off in the North stand. Think the club had just paraded a banner saying we were the best fans in the world. Next minute they were attacking Chelsea. Chucking turf at first then all sorts.

We had just been relegated the previous Monday. Some fans ran on for a laugh but I think others really wanted to get at the Chelsea fans. Heard that Zola got kicked about on the pitch as well.

We walked into Rusholme after the match and there was a group of Chelsea that were being escorted by the police for their own safety as City fans were throwing bottles at them.

juventus. ???

Yeah it was played at Torino's ground, the Stadio Olimpico, while Juve's was being rebuilt. Only about 6 or 7,000 turned up and 1,500 were City fans. It was a bitterly cold night and then the next morning it snowed heavily and flights from Milan and Turin airports had long delays or cancellations, some Blues took 3 days to get home.

One of the coldest nights I've ever had at a football match. Everton at home, just over two years ago, is another.
What about the night the famous Alan came on for Salzburg it was the only thing that kept me warm that night laughing at the Alan chants.
