I often feel that people hate Piers Morgan and by default shit over whatever he says without any thinking and reason behind it. It was pretty visible from comments about his fight with Rudy Giulliani where many picked the side of that Orange Buffoon's **** just because Piers Morgan was on the other side.
He surely had and still has his cuntish moments, he is also an ultimate troll and gets easily under people's skin, but he is also very right in lot of fights he picks and I don't care if he picks them to stay in news and make gains for his career or if he does it because he really cares about them. Actually, some of the fights he picked, were not really great for his career but he picked them and never backed anyway. The one about guns in USA had cost him a top and very well paid job at CNN and he is smart enough and would have known it's not a popular topic in USA to talk about the way he did it back then.
He is controversial, some of the things he did in his life and career can't be excused, but I think he is useful person in media and public space, much more useful than no character cunts who lick arses of whoever is in power or are biased no matter what is happening in the world. He often opens good questions that wider society has to talk about to be better. And when it comes to things he really cares about, he doesn't give a shit who is on the other side. I like that. And I hate when people judge anything based on who said/did it, rather than what is said/done. It's OK when it comes to football and such relatively not important stuff, but when it comes to things that are important for the lives of ourselves and of our kids, it's pretty primitive way of thought.
