The Hollies Farm shop on the A49 sell exceedingly good pies, made on the plot, not cheap at circa £6 for a plate pie they are really decent.

Crombies of Edinburgh do a fine version available online, along with square sausages, ayrshire middle cut bacon and award winning haggis. Norbury Farm butchers in Hazel Grove also do excellent steak pie slices if you are in range.

Yes, they make the pies in the cafe, not cheap but they sell it in delicious square slabs .
