It’s the latest look at me moment for the social media generation

there was basically a queue in the family stand for people waiting to get on the pitch , no one trying to stop them , no one batting an eyelid

the club were broadcasting warnings pre match and again at half time

just stay off the pitch eh , you’ve made yourself and the club look a laughing stock

If the large groups of non players & unnecessary hangers on can go on to the pitch during the trophy presentation, whilst they take selfies, or videos to post on Instagram to say look "where i am", then fans will obviously do the same and why not.

I know someone who, after the Villa game went on to the pitch, picked up a flare off the floor, waved it about then threw it. 4 year ban and a day in court. A few flare holders out on the pitch on Sunday will be getting a call. No sympathy with them.
