PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Who knows whether that Athletic article is based in truth? Could be bollocks but the snippets relating to player contracts may indicate that City have fed them a few titbits including the timeline regarding the case ;)
That Pol Ballus geezer is credited to part of the story in The Athletic, so it’s feasible I suppose that he’s who has been fed a couple of lines?

This is just insanity by Masters. They also put out a press release at the time slagging off the panel’s decision. The PL is supposed to be impartial and treat its clubs equally. They can’t slag off their own process. The organisation is out of control. How stupid are other club directors to tolerate this situation.

They’ve had Nottingham Forest as the only case out of four so far where they haven’t had any push backs legally on their stand point. It’s lunacy that it’s turning into the Wild West on its governance and clubs probably don’t have any clue if the rule book they have to abide by is actually legal.

I know we are all impatient for a resolution, but surely if TA knew anything new about timing that would be the story and the headline, not a line in some gossip about what happened in the international break?
