Even if we’re innocent we will be hounded forever
Unless we claim victimisation? Or ethnic racism being targeted and blow the whole corrupt organisation to bits?

Those people exist on this forum. They'll appear in a day or two after digesting matters, hopefully with good news.I love this forum, but what I'd give right now for someone who has read and understood the charges and has been following the case closely enough to know what they're talking about.
“Impartially” should have been highlighted.Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.
The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.
As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.

I look forward to our defence against the allegations as a final chance to bury them.
If it all goes tits up, I will still be a City fan. If we have years in the wilderness, I will still be a City fan. If we play an Academy team every week, I will still be a City fan.
So, nothing different then.I suppose the old "no smoke without fire" argument. Or the "you got off on a technicality" guff. Our name will be shit to many football fans and journos for years going forward, even if we win.

Phew! I was worried for a whileThey get an automatic place lol
That’s pretty much what we’ve done :)I would love the city response just to be the two word statement "Fuck Off" with a picture of all the trophies we've won in that time.
Why would a low net spend help ?I am wondering if we did know something was coming? The incredibly low net spend over the last 5 years, and in particular the last year? Not saying the club agrees with the charges, just that we knew a load of charges were coming our way?
That's the one thing we are guilty of. Effectively we admitted it and paid a reduced fine. Surely we can't be punished twice. Some of the charges relate to non-compliance with UEFA's ffp investigation.
dont think so, city have know for years about the PL sniffing for things, half expectes i'd say,it will be a court case in the law courts so dont expect to much from city if anything, other than the complaint has been received etc etcStill no statement from the club. Must have taken them by surprise as they would normally have a draft ready to go as soon as the story breaks.
