PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Straight away Fifa weren’t anything to do with it, the CAS can’t be bought for a verdict. Russia is the most corrupt country on the planet and they banned them from the Olympics.

It’s the misinformation that gets spouted that they then all take as matter as fact. Haaland being on £800k a week, I saw one lemming saying we received £3 billion from a betting company with 12 customers. And the line ‘we all know City are cheating’, well they obviously haven’t read any of the CAS case write up have they?
Haaland is on £900k a week. Let’s not confuse fantasy land for the real world. -:)

Trying not to get to excited but just imagine red cafe, rawk and Twitter if we are cleared. The CAS judgement was fucking brilliant, but this would be on a different scale. I honestly think I’d hunt Simon Jordan down and slap the ****.
I don’t know who’s worse on that show , reformed piss pot White , or that **** who seems to delight in saying long pointless words who seems to delight in his posh education, for a man who proclaims to be as intelligent has he thinks, he’s just another mouthpiece who can’t hide his resentment of City , any **** who thinks Villa are a bigger club than city should fuck off back to the corridors of his private school and press the re set button and learn about football pre 1992.If there is any person who should know about clever business practices it’s that ****.

That is of course true, however, the likelihood of a favourable outcome happening soon, might well hinge on our cooperation in assisting the PL in some form of arse covering exercise.

Remember, we have to live with these fuckers once this is over.
Maybe they should have thought about that too

Have Everton been informed yet?
If I was them I’d be shitting myself , but don’t forget , they’re one of the big “five”. A travesty if they go down blah blah blah , a club who are very similar to City when Reid was manager - flirt with the top five , then escape relegation battles , i quite like Everton as a club , but I’d delight in them going down to learn about how good they think their fanbase is , they’re the elephant in the room for me , because if they sanction us , what will be the excuse for them not getting the same.

I can’t be the only one that doesn’t want them to drop the charges as then we’ll get accused of paying them off. I want everything investigated and everything cleared. I want to see a full verdict so we can ram it down the throat of the bitter fuckers who say we are guilty.

Get the charges dropped by any means necessary then carry on winning the league year after year.

That’s all that needs to happen.

I do actually think the penny is dropping about City with fans from other clubs , if there ever was a season that people can’t see it then it’s this one , Let’s use Liverpool , Chelsea , and Spurs as the example, so why aren’t they on the same footballing level as Brighton , forget the money , why aren’t they playing the expansive , attacking football that they prove can be done with excellent management and a structure ? And even in the top 4 , Arsenal and Newcastle have spent a pittance compared to the cunts and Chelsea ? I think real fans of all our detractors can see it for what it really is.

Charges dropped and we have paid them off.

Investigation done and we are cleared. We have paid them off.

Either way. Piss boiled.

I get your point and I don’t think that what you write is in any way wrong within the rules of the sport, but I think that there is a pathway to appeal and that appeal is to the court of law.
Football clubs are businesses and businesses are protected by a whole raft of laws that are wide ranging and well established. I do understand PL can do whatever they like within their rules, and that the first recourse must always be to those rules as a higher body would rightly expect that, but those rules must ultimately accord with the laws that protect all businesses as the PL, as powerful as it is as a sport governing body, can’t operate a system that sits outside the law itself.
The recourse to law is on very narrow grounds, basically irregularity in the process.

I can understand all of the above. I am convinced they have no evidence so unless something new comes to light It won’t matter who they appoint or how it’s interpreted. How can you assertion guilt without any evidence?
UEFA managed it, despite being told by CAS at the halfway stage (CAS1) that they were mounting an unfair hearing. The CAS verdict in every case began “There is no evidence that…”

Let’s say it’s a stitch up. The whole idea of a private hearing does nothing to aid a sense of fairness. However, City have plenty of media outlets to release the irrefutable evidence if the premier league chooses to ignore.

By that point I would expect a legal challenge in the uk courts not an internal sporting witch-hunt.

The premier need to handle this case properly or we will tear them apart. A hatchet job would be painful but might aid us in the bigger picture.
