This would be very strange indeed since the PL have granted us a licence to play in the CL every season since 2011-12 .Haven’t read the article but the PL have charged us with breaching FFP regulations.
Welcome to the world of forensic accountancy. Most Geordies will be fully qualified by the time the Saudi’s have run your club for 15 years, if your experience is to be similar to ours.I wasn’t aware that competition law being changed, it’s arguably as relevant today as it was 10 years ago. No other sector of business would such practises be allowed by the CMA.

Show me a nation that hasn’tIt’s not really true though - UAE have openly continued supplying Russia and ignored requests including from the UK to abide by the sanctions most other counties are upholding.
It is what it is - it shouldn’t be an issue to acknowledge that for all the good they’ve done for the club, they’ve openly aligned with India and North Korea in being happy to put their economies before morality.
Thursday, but keep it under your hat.So when are we getting demoted to the conference north league, having every trophy taken off us since 2011, having a 40 points deduction in conference league, having a 10 year transfer ban, and not being allowed any fans in the stadium for two seasons?
ShitThursday, but keep it under your hat.
The whole thing is about FFP...No mention or FFP int rh PL charged
City are owned by Sheikh Mansour and that has always been the case. The foreign policy of the UAE is irrelevant. It’s not really true though - UAE have openly continued supplying Russia and ignored requests including from the UK to abide by the sanctions most other counties are upholding.

The UAE do not own City. Sheikh Mansour’s investments are his personal business. You used the plural “they” for our ownership. It is wrong to link MCFC with the UAE’s relationship with Russia. Sheikh Mansour invests across the globe.Sheikh Mansour is the deputy PM and vice President of the UAE.
To suggest that he has no input on the foreign policy of the UAE is with all due respect laughable.
City are a wholly owned subsidiary of CFG which is 80% owned by Sheik M. The sheik owns no shares in City. Legally it makes a big difference.City are owned by Sheikh Mansour and that has always been the case. The foreign policy of the UAE is irrelevant.
For comparison, look up Infosys.Sheikh Mansour is the deputy PM and vice President of the UAE.
To suggest that he has no input on the foreign policy of the UAE is with all due respect laughable.
I am most grateful for your informed comment and look forward to being educated furtherSheikh Mansour is the deputy PM and vice President of the UAE.

With which you conveniently ignore the point once again..The UAE do not own City. Sheikh Mansour’s investments are his personal business. You used the plural “they” for our ownership. It is wrong to link MCFC with the UAE’s relationship with Russia. Sheikh Mansour invests across the globe.
It's very easy to defend. With which you conveniently ignore the point once again..
Sheikh Mansour owns ADUG (which of course owns City), he is also the VP of the UAE, deputy to his brother Sheikh Mohamed. He is also deputy PM of the UAE, with the ruler of Dubai as PM. To try and suggest that he has no input in the foreign policy of the UAE is desperate.
The UAE is openly supplying Russia with microchips and chemicals to manufacture munitions, along with buying up Russian oil and precious metals, which is of course their right, it’s their economy to protect at the end of the day, but as said in the original post, it shouldn’t be taboo to acknowledge that for all the amazing things he has done for City and Manchester itself, it is hard to defend the foreign policy he is part of as the #2 of the UAE.

The whole thing is about FFP...
A large number of the charges are prior to FFP being introduced in the PL which forbid club to make more than £105m loss over three seasons and restricted the amount that the wage bill could increase by, this one was dropped when it affected the rags
