PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Normally you would expect a regulator to have at least the basic evidence BEFORE formulating charges. But the PL rushed into this, panicked by the prospect of an independent regulator. Hence they just issued the barely formulated charge sheet (witness the numerous errors) consisting of all the potential items they were considering. Since then they have been collecting evidence and witnesses and are still missing plenty. Hence the delay. Next, they will have to tell City the details that have not yet been forthcoming and the club needs time to assemble the refutation.
Communication breakdown, it’s always the same. Having a nervous breakdown, it drives me insane.

When they show the intro into Match of the Day at the end they show the Champions lifting the trophy , i timed it at less than two seconds , if that had been a red 'istree club it would be on for so much longer , the BBC cant even hide their hate for our club.
They can shove their licence where the sun doesnt shine , cant wait for another knobhead to come knocking on my door asking if i have a TV licence , the last one got so much abuse he was nearly crying , fuck 'em.
We are all climbing a stairway to heaven.

The PL have referred City to a commission, the PL retained KC will appoint a panel made up of, in Everton’s case 2 KC and a financial expert, the panel for City is likely to be similar. I don’t see how you think those appointed are putting

they will consider the evidence listen to witnesses and then come come to a verdict
The difference between CAS case is that UEFA have a limit on how far back a case can be looked at, PL don’t have this however, legal experts have offered their opinion that as PL is constitutioned under English law which does have a limit so it’s likely the KC will throw out a good numbers of charges
Bring it on home to me.

As much as I believe City are 100% innocent, it's still baffles me the way the 115 chargers were issued.
The pl got this so wrong , the grass height for one lol.

It beggars belief that the pl seriously think City have broken 115 rules yet the pl could get the rules right for each season.

When the pl lose were does football go from there ?
The pl has falsely accused it's most successful club over the last decade on made up charges.
For this and this is the bit that niggles me, I cant see how City will be found innocent. For City to be found innocent it would be the end of the pl as it is clearly not fit for purpose.

Personally I believe we are innocent 100% but I cant believe the pl would risk everything just to throw shit at City

Perhaps this is the end game for the American owned clubs
The PL would have been better picking the 5 charges they believe could be well argued and stick.

115 just seems frivolous and vexatious. They are just chancing their arm that one lands, but if the vast majority of charges are found to be without substance then that erodes confidence in the other charges as well.

There’s no public statement by either City or PL re Autumn 2024 for the hearing do who started all this?

Is it a leak or wishful thinking or just another case a KFA making something up to see who runs with it????

Smokescreen to stop everyone laughing at the rags for being bottom of their group

Selling oil at a convention designed to reduce it's use isn't a war crime but it isn't a great look.
Your surely not suggesting they ran the story purely because City have an association with the UAE?
Interesting the media keep harping on about UAE City and human rights. Check out how many "friends" appear above the UAE.

The Telegraph is reporting that the government has issued a PIIN (Public Interest Intervention Notice) that will block the Redbird IMI backed buy back of the Telegraph by the Barclay family. This will trigger investigations by both Ofcom and the CMA to decide if it should be totally blocked or conditions be put in place before it is allowed.

The money for this buy back is almost exclusively coming from IMI, which is owned by Sheikh Mansour, and this is basically why they have done it. So a couple of days after Khaldoon was being courted by Jeremy Hunt for inward investment they are now effectively saying AD money isn't wanted for the Telegraph sale. The notion that the government will be leaning on the PL in support of our case looks a lot more like wishful thinking. They will pick and choose, so investment in Sizewell is deemed good but for other things it isn't wanted.

We were offered a settlement by Ceferin before the UEFA case and we refused.
Not convinced we would take one this time either, whatever the legal advice. It feels like Khaldoon has dug his heels in.
“They will not pass.”
You keep making a basic error: it is not wise or even possible for City to lay down its evidence in advance of the PL formulating their case which it seems they have not yet done so. There is no such thing as an open and shut case.

This has become too personal and a direct affront to the UAE. I cannot see our owners taking any kind of deal.

Too many pages to catch up on. Talksport had this as it broke. With appeals it could be years until it’s resolved.

That bronzed **** Jordan smarmily saying we want it done now if we are so innocent. If I was within a foot of him the way he was saying it, I’d have shaved his locks off.

I’m not sure, but it will certainly emerge as an attack on AbuDhabi’s honour.
