Why? In what way is it unhelpful?

It is actually very helpful, given that PB's claim is clearly horseshit, and he had only managed to hoodwink people into believing him because, well ultimately we all Want it to be true (myself included) because it means good news for the club. But it is fantasy. And dismissing it helps.

Pretty much also the reason I am so riled up by it.

Are you claiming that Colin doesn't have a source and that he's just made one up to validate his own theory on why this is playing out as it is?

High degree of quality? I don’t doubt the ability of a KC but the substantive evidence presented by the league to accuse fraud is made up of out of context hacked emails and published financial accounts. Mancini didn’t get a call and neither did Yaya’s agent.

The evidence is anything but quality. Fair play to them for making this a 2 year, 10 thousand word document out of that shit.

Quality aggressive work indeed.

As for PB, no need to be snide, you accuse enough on here of treating you the same way. He has his sources and that’s that. You don’t have to agree but the “world exclusive” remarks are not needed nor helpful.

logically the final written draft is not published. Both sides will know how it’s gone most likely. Communication between city, premier, legal teams and the tribunal will be happening during this timeframe.

No one wins here, you know this. The caveat of 99% sure always leaves an out incase the decision does not go as expected.

This is what I don't understand - they've had 8 months to look at the evidence and they still haven't reached a decision. They may as well toss a coin at this point and get it over with.

Another one who needs a lie down. We should share our thoughts as respectfully as we can and you allow yourself to be played like a Stradivarius by behaving like a spoilt brat whenever anyone has the temerity to call you out for blatant self-promotion.

I think PB was used to being the go to guy on here about City & FFP since it all kicked off many years ago, it's clear he's put a lot of work into the whole situation and knows a lot (far more than me). I'm not sure when Stefan started posting regularly on here but since then it's always felt like PB has been trying to prove that he's more in the know about it all & always been an edge to his posts with Stefan.

Could just be me though!

I never said that either.

Look, we have 2 rumours from 2 respected individuals. They have the privilege of being told these rumours but the rest of us have to judge which one we think is most likely because as you say they can’t both be true. I’m 99% with Stefan and 1% with Colin but I have been surprised in the past by believing rumours totally and them ending up false.

The moral of the story is?

Don’t spread rumours.
 
Could someone please give an educated guess as to why when we were believing that it would take so many months before a decision was reached,then subsequently released,why are we still waiting on the outcome..
