Bloke next to me said the same thing. Not a peep out of them after Foden scored.

If they are realistic their main rivals should be one of the clubs in the bottom half.
 
Let's hope City do win the case, otherwise there will be numerous clubs, never mind the 3 Red Shirt Cartel clubs, coming after City for compensation. It could run into £100's millions.

Burnley's legal case against Everton over the Clarets' 2021-22 relegation is set to start this week - almost two years after the Toffees were handed a historic points deduction for being found in breach of the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules (PSR).

Daily Mail Sport revealed in November 2023 that Burnley - along with Leeds and Leicester - intended to sue the Merseyside club for a combined £300million in compensation, after all three clubs were relegated while Everton kept their spot in the top flight.
 
If any “body” should be sued, it should be the organisation in charge ie PL;FA for not being aware of the way clubs are being run & how they have to have a business model to get round the rules brought in “to protect” clubs and the leagues as a whole.

They obviously haven’t protected anyone or any club. Waste of time & money.

The fa dealing with Chelsea fine them will give the premier get out! They could easily say the fa have dealt with it the matter on Chelsea is now closed! With the Americans wouldn’t put it past the premier to do that!

ESL is inevitable - that’s the reason there are so many US owners - mostly motivated by greed, they don’t give a damn about history or tradition it’s just about $$$$$$$$$$

There will be no legal action for compensation it would wreck the league and that’s not in anyone’s interest

The football regulator would ban them from playing football in England
