If it’s close to home then I can only think of one player dropped from the squad on Sunday unless it’s someone out injured.

It would be nice to get clarity on if it’s a City player or not tbh.

That player's national team manager spoke about how disappointed the player was to be dropped for the Liverpool game and how it's part of a footballer's career - so either it's not him, or the NT manager is in the dark.

Oh heck, so it’s a City player? Well, I’m not gonna change my view if it’s one of ours. If the allegations are true he should be locked up.

How would people like the club to handle it, if it was a City player?

I would absolutely dread Pep's press conference, he'd inevitably make things worse.

I suppose I'd like the player to be left out of the side until things were cleared up, but I don't see that happening. You have to balance the "innocent until proven guilty" with the seriousness of the allegations and media circus that would follow from playing them.

I doubt the police would of allowed him to travel abroad to play for his country yesterday if it was him.

If the rumours are correct, it won't be brought up at a press conference. If it was a city player, you can be sure it would be.

Released on police bail usually.
