Reminds me of Ruben Semedo, who is bafflingly still playing, so proof if any is needed that you can get away with pretty much anything and keep your football career. Semedo kidnapped a guy at gunpoint, tied him up and beat him half to death with some friends, then went round and burgled the guys house (I think he owed him money?). Somehow, Semedo is currently not in jail after pleading guilty but is instead playing for Olympiakos, I am not sure quite how, other than Spain having literally the worst criminal justice system going if you have a bit of cash
