PL set to introduce ban on incoming loans between associated party clubs

Make no mistakes about it, this is a US owner driven attempt to stop the likes of City and Newcastle (i.e. decently operated clubs) bringing in players. Likely at the moment some of the red shirt owners are fearful that Newcastle will take their CL spot this season. How can you just change the rules temporarily mid season to aid some clubs and hinder others??

Not sure it’s corruption. It’s certainly reactionary.

Watford and Udinese will be screwed if it goes through.

If the transfer is at fair value, there shouldn’t be a ban.
It's corruption because its only being done to stop certain clubs being successful. Like you said, as long as the loan deal is at fair market rates and is all clear in the balance books, it's not breaking any rules. You're not telling me that the red shirt owners haven't been on the phone to each other scheming this vote....

Premier clubs are apparently going to vote on to whether to ban loans between Associated clubs!!

I can only think of Lampard we got on loan from our New York associated club!

We see patterns don't we how the red shirts can squeeze other clubs! Seems they worried that Newcastle will get loans players for next to nought when in fact there a rules now that there is a fair market fee for loan player between associated clubs!

Seems these American owners must be having meetings constantly to go through how to stop none American owners!

Lampard wouldn’t have played that season at City had this rule existed, for example
Mind you it was an utterly forgettable season in any event
As said, this is the American ownership cartel trying to flex their muscles, shit scared of Newcastle qualifying for a CL place that they see as their entitlement

I’m not hugely against making transfers between affiliated clubs being of fair value.

The league are worried that Newcastle could totally circumvent FFP by doing this.

We have never not paid fair value for our transfers. Mooy etc.

Lampard loan I don’t know enough about.

There are already rules for loans between two associated clubs they have to pay fair value they can't get Simeon on loan who is top quality for a few million..

I doubt this will affect us, but smacks of an attempt by the cartel to hinder Newcastle in whatever way possible.

Any rules changes like this should be reserved for the summer recess, but the red tops have never been interested in fairness, just preserving their position at the top.
