Didn't mean to start a "lets all complain" thread. I thought my thread might have led to serious discussion about pewter tankards. That hasn't worked so I now suggest that all drinks be served in sponges. You suck the drink from the sponge and if any gets spilt you can always mop it up and drink it. No waste. When its finished you can shove the sponge into the face of a random customer without scarring him for life.
