Danny..I think its for fans who have say 2-3000 pts who want to go away but dont have enough..Saying that,from reading various posts most aways go on general sale..I went platinum.It's a no brainer for me,however I only go to a few aways per yr but those aways I want to make sure I can attend....

I find it alright but I do most of the away games anyway so got plat to
Keep ahead of people on lower points which would be more difficult on gold. Only an extra fifty too. Same price as fulham away

Doesn't matter if it's 4 games or 14 games basically they have charged £50 for a city online mag, I don't expect to catch up to the people with 9k or even 6k points yet but to then higher the criteria on last year Basically makes platinum worthless

You are still earning double points over gold. If you had gone gold you would be falling back further.

As people are getting more points each season, the selling criteria has to start higher, they can't keep the stating criteria at 3,000 points they started from 8 years ago and not slowly increase it as people earn more point.

I think the pertinent point people are missing is that the memory stick with a whopping 256 MB of space must have cost at least £50 by itself. Platinum is an absolute steal.

You will only catch up gradually as others either dont go to certain games while you do, or have gone gold while your platinum. Its a slow process but its always been a slow process getting points. The illusion platinum gives is you can catch up quicker, in reality if you go platinum you are just making sure you dont fall further back. They have to increase the points each season as people have more points.

They go the miserable midweek away league cup games that don't get anywhere near selling out for a start. Like those with the most points have been doing for years.
