Played for City only once.

Vuso is memorable for the hype up he got from Keegan. We all thought we had a 40 goal a season striker on our hands.

He played in a preseason game v Bury (or Burnley? ). I was there. Nothing about him stood out. Neither good nor bad as I recall.

He was never seen again.
Just looking him up on Wiki, after City, Vuoso had 2 spells with a Mexican team and in his first spell he scored 57 goals in 102 games! Not far off a "Haaland" type of return!

Also, I'd forgotten all about this interesting news from Wiki.........

During his time with Manchester City, he, along with players Daniel Van Buyten and Djamel Belmadi, were the victim of a theft by two bankers. In total, workers at the Co-operative Bank stole more than £350,000 from the accounts of the three players. In January 2006, the bank workers, Paul Sherwood, a cashier, and Paul Hanley, his supervisor, were jailed for 32 months and 12 months respectively.

Willie Maley.

Celtic's legendary manager who managed them for over 40 years across 5 decades, between 1897 and 1940 but before that he played a single game for us in 1896 a year before he took the Celtic job.

Interestingly Willie Maley's brother Tom Maley was actually our manager, the first manager to win us a trophy when we won the FA Cup in 1904.

So many prospects. Most of them shite.
that's a thread stopper - can be checked here

Was there a young player... maybe called Steve Rimmer

Joe Royle put him on as a sub and took him off 30 minutes later and he was never seen again

Bill Williams signed from Stockport, played 1 game at Ipswich and then back to Stockport
A Jimmy Frizzell arranged deal not involving Mel Machin. Had a good chat with Bill a few years ago. Interesting insight he gave on the move !
