I think you're spot on with that. He went up a few levels last season and I would say he probably deserves parity with the two players you mentioned, or thereabouts anyway. I don't think he should be on Stones money just yet as that was a contract to reflect not only his massive upturn in performances but also the fact that he was entering his peak years. If Foden goes up another level in the next year or so he'll no doubt be offered another new deal on that sort of money though.I think Foden’s current deal is for £625k/yr. So I imagine his deal is being talked about at length between him and the club. I bet he looks at Sterling’s £15.6m/yr and his eyes start to water! I hope Phil is grounded when talks are ongoing. I think something in the region between Mahrez and Gundo would be a good next contract for Phil (or am I miles out and he’s going to get Stones/Dias money?!)
