Was talking to my mate about this and I genuinely couldn’t pick a potential Player of the Year.

I was thinking that Kovacic had less bad games than most, then he gave away that shocker last night.

I don’t know how to add a poll, but seriously doubt there would be any clear front runner.

Haaland for me ……. 17 PL goals

Honourable mention for Savinho - looked absolute quality in patches

Easy one for me….Bernie, the guy has literally run himself into the ground for our club (possibly to the detriment of his own career) has fronted up in interviews and led by example off the pitch, he’s always available and will play anywhere

Mate, what are you talking about?
He’s had the season from hell.

It’s not a personality contest or we’d all vote for him as he’s a City legend.
Player of the year is who played best. Bernardo is not that by a long long way.

Haaland is on course to 40+ goals in all compets. Given that Kun's record is 33 goals in a season, the idea that Haaland hasn't been good is bonkers. Yes, he hasn't been exceptional, but his numbers are excellent.

It’s good that someone else can see it too.
He’s put his body on the line and played nearly every minute of every game. Those that know, know.

The midfield is falling apart and Haaland is still somehow in the Golden Boot race. It has to be him.

A clubs POTS isn’t always the best player or performer, the top scorer or assister, there are many factors, similar to when choosing a captain (How many times did Dunney win it?) this season has been like no other under Pep, and for me Bernie has stood up in many different ways, has he had a few stinkers, yes, but he’s dusted himself of and gone again, the guy has shown incredible fortitude and sacrificed his own game for the good of the team, happy to disagree with you on this one mate, but I reckon if you asked Pep who those players are that he was quoted as saying “he won’t forget” Bernie will be one of them

Ortega for me - he makes Ederson look bang average.

I'd also be tempted to vote for Savinho as I think he's looked absolute class at times. Once this lad settles with the team, we've a world beater on our hands.
