see what I mean about meaningless semantics?
It’s the meaningless semantics that we directly experience. The big things that really matter are always there but don’t really affect us directly.

It’s things like why my right foot is slightly bigger than me left so shoes don’t fit properly on both feet, or why Brian Cox always describes the distance of things in kilometres and I always try and work out how many miles that is whereas if he did it the other way around I’d never try and work out how many kilometres it is… I moan about things like that more than I ever think about the Rohingya genocide, for example.

don't get me started on Rohingya... it's a million km away from real life!
