Kompany and Lescott are front runners.

De Jong an outsider.

Richards has been OK but not as good as February and his brain lapses still reemerge, such as the pointless free kick today leading to their goal.

None of our attacking players look that good at the moment. Dzeko and Balotelli are doing nothing, Tevez is trying again but can't seem to get around the defenders like he did before and is running into brick walls too much, Silva looks a bit jaded and possibly tired after a great season.

I find it so funny how Kompany and de Jong have been so consistent this season that they never win player of the month!!!

Lescott has really stepped up to fill the hole keft by Kolos suspension. Was worried when Kolo failed his drugs test but Lescott has been superb.

Lescott because he has improved so much but only just Kompany has been excellent. Richards would have been given a shout if it wasn't for is moment of madness and lack of getting forward today.
