Player that everybody loves but you think is overrated

This applies to pretty much all players in red shirts. Alexander-Arnold and Lisandro Martinez are prime examples.
Alexander-Arnold really is a tough one.

To some he's the world's best, to others he's a complete liability.

He's simultaneously one of the best players in the league and one of the worst right-backs in the league.

My take - he's a world class midfielder playing out of position.

World class? because he can pass a ball? A midfielder should be able to tackle, intercept and pass the ball, for example like Rodri, Modric. That makes them world class. Alexander Arnold is a player who can only pass a ball.

Sorry - a potentially world class midfielder.

Of course parts of his midfield game won’t be up to scratch but he’s a truly special creator.

I’m not talking about playing as a 6 like Rodri but more like KDB as an attacking midfielder with limited defensive responsibilities. His range of passing and crossing ability is the best in the league BAR Kev. He can shoot, take set pieces, he’s reasonably quick and strong. He has all the raw materials. Playing him at right-back highlights the weakest parts of his game.
