Moment of true: Nastasic vs Real or Mangala vs Barcelona. There can be no excuses. I put all my money on Nastasic.

You do that mate, I'll stick to supporting my team not individuals.

Whilst most blues are supporting the team there will be one or two on here counting the errors mangala and joe make, ecstatic if they make a mistake, gutted if they don't

only in Internet land does that ring true. Nobody, wherever it's on here, or anywhere else, if they genuinely support City they won't be wanting, or hoping that any player makes a mistake. If you think proper blues would rather see certain players fail so it helps their argument on a forum then more fool you.

It s Nastsic thred and, as far as I know, he is still our player. So when did I said anything about not supporting City? I sure hope Mangala will have the game of his life, but I really can t believe it.

If you are hoping to see Nastasic again, he will only be our player if he's too shite for Shalke.

And looking at him last night, you might get your wish.

I remember when we signed Zabaleta and sold Corluka. People were saying similar things to this.

Nastasic was the only player from Shalke defense who tried some long passes forward. His opponent was Bale, one of the best wingers in the world, and I think he did ok.
As for Mangala, I said it before: I see him as the new Boateng; it s up to him now.

What did I said? That I prefer Nastasic? Yes, I would have preferred to keep Nastasic and instead of Mangala to go for Ramos. But we went for Mangala. That being said I am among those who hope for Mangala to become the best CB in the wold in the next few years. Do I think so?! - not really..; but I sure hope so and wish him the best!

How do you know we didn't go for Ramos?

Well, how do you know? You see... these questions are useless until one of the clubs, the player or his agent makes an official statement.

@rapidCT

Ramos as in Sergio Ramos?

You guys are dissecting Mangala every mistakes and bad first touch. Have you even watched him. Ramos makes stupid mistake that cost Madrid, especially against inferior teams. He is a big game player and will deliver occasionally in a big game (i.e. Brace against Bayern and equalizer in the CL final). However, he losses concentration a lot and does stupid foul and gets red carded a lot. He is the All time La Liga red card leader with 10 as well.

dont feed him more.

he feels we should have Thiago Silva (massively regressed in the past year + injury prone), values Ramos at 20-30M (Last year Perez wanted 75M)

on top of that, he thinks that joe hart is a player from the academy

you get my drift

If you are telling me that Sergio Ramos is not top 3 best CB in the world right now than it s the end of discussion.

Hope so. Lucky to have gotten that for him. He's a pile of wank who City fans have massively overrated based on about four games. Possibly the biggest example of selective memory and the influence of Football Manager/FIFA games that we currently have at the club, and he's done well even to get into a club like Schalke.

There's a reason he has gone to Schalke and not to Bayern Munich or Barcelona, and why Schalke have only ever won one game in which he's played.

If this is true then City inserted a clause stating that Schalke were forced to buy him if he started 5 league games for them. That should tell you everything you need to know about Nastasic.

Good. Nothing worse than loaning someone and not getting them sold at the end of it and them returning to the club. Fingers crossed on something similar for Scott Sinclair.

I'm watching Schalke v Hoffenheim next Saturday so I'll let you know.

Incidentally our terrace tickets cost £15 each.

When did City last charge £15 for a League game? I'm going for the Royle era.
