Fuck me.....this passing sideways criticism shit winds me up. he's constantly looking for angles, gaps, moving players (ours and the opposition) around to try and create space and chances. We look off the pace as an attacking unit at the minute, (defensively is another topic!) so he is of course less effective as his teammates, to be frank, are rather static. Interceptions happen when space is limited, but he will still try to create. We have some really really really ungrateful 'fans' around at the moment. David isn't the problem here, you need to open your eyes and be fucking grateful that we have him here playing for our club.

No coincidence that we were at our best with Sterling and Navas on the flanks.
If I was Pellegrini id be very tempted to revert to that lineup. The attack is so disjointed at the moment.

The de bruyne signing unsettled our balance. He has been great on the whole individually at home but the team hasn't looked the same and I don't think that is just down to Kompnay being absent.

No movement around him, only Kun who has 2 on him.
Hate seeing him on the left. He's better on the right than out there - and KDB is better on the left than on the right. MP has routinely misused Silva tho since he's been here

This is the key point. Silva isn't magic even if we do call him Merlin he needs movement so space is created and he has players to pass to. At the moment away from home we are stationary and the only option is to pass to the side.
