If that's what you read from what I wrote, then I can't help you. Don't need anyone's sympathy by the way.
Was just opining on the future. Decided to respond here rather than continue derailing a thread on a different player.

Totally agree, a lot of them have been getting away with it for years, the act is wearing thin now.

He is a real tough cookie. Assuming that he doesn't get crocked proper, by a Charlie Adam or similar, then he has another 4 years in him. Easy. The very best I have seen at City and up there with the PL all time best. But he won't ever get that recognition from the media which is a shame. Am sure he will be central to Pep's plans, so sit back and enjoy him while you can. It only takes one stunned control and turn or a delicate reverse diagonal pass and I am drooling like a dog with a biscuit. Don't argue about this great footballer, just love him.

It's not about what I like or what you like pal.

It's about people who constantly shout against the general consensus. Not because they've got a genuine alternative view, but because they desperately crave attention.

Anyone who wants Silva to be "shipped out" either falls in to that category, doesn't go to many games to actually watch him play, or they're new to football and don't understand just how good he is.

He's the type of footballer than can contribute long after his legs have gone. He has the 5 yards of space all the greats have, in their heads. Head and shoulders the best player I've seen live.
