He was ok in general although his final decisions could be better at times. The miss was shocking though.i had to tell two people turning around, hugging each other and trying to get me involved to stop before they made even bigger tits of themselves!

Navas is far from a shit player, ok so he lacks composure when through on goal but he offers so much more than people accept, he always tracks back and covers for Zabba. He offers us width which we need when teams ark the bus and he gives us pace. The fact that Pelle has played him in the vast majority of our games tells us something.

Wasted far too many chances, poor crosses, poor passing and no finishing.

He is not of the standard we now expect.... always said he will be a brilliant impact substitute and that is it - nothing else he is just not the finished article I'm afraid!

The miss was bad no doubt. But had he stuck it in we'd have been going nuts about how he bombed through, held off 2 players, rounded the keeper, and won us the game.

Correct, but that's one almighty massive IF.... which as it happens didn't materialise. So we're not going nuts about how he bombed through held off two players rounded the keeper and scored and won us the game....

Instead we're reflecting on another crap finish that could quite easily have cost us two points!

'Fraid not, he is way too limited going forward, I will accept he puts a shift in covering back, but that's not his primary role. His primary role is to create chances and score goals, neither of which he does very well.
