back in the 2 striker days he would cross the ball constantly, now he serves no purpose in the final third but to destroy the tempo with his consternation. It's not really his fault he isn't suited for the system we play. Yes he is a classical wide player, meaning he needs a classic target man in the box. The only we have plays outside the box primarily (bony)

He's a squad player/impact sub he shouldn't be starting any more unless to counter specific threats

If Navas had better finishing, decision-making in the final third and passing in the final third he'd be a very good player. His pace is electrifying and his overall movement is very good too. I was so angry at that miss today though.
If Navas had those he'd have been playing for Real or Barca for the last half dozen years

It was a right crappy miss, but I think folks should consider that he is probably one of only a few players in City's squad who would have been able to actually get there to miss it in the first place. Sterling or Aguero might, maybe Kelechi, but Bony, Silva or Nasri would never have got anywhere near to getting away from the defenders & round the keeper for instance.

It's understandable people being frustrated with him, but if someone else replaces him, they won't necessarily get into the positions he does, or cover back like he does.

He lacked today. You can have all the pace in the world but if your end product is rubbish...

See ryan babel.

Were where we are despite Navas which is brilliant, Kev showed on the left in the second half that he can track back on the right when required, I just can't wait to see the forward 4 we all want as soon as poss

In his defense, he did well getting into scoring position. I personally didn't expect him to get that far as Puncheon looked like he was going to close him down. Shame about the finish though. The guy has zero confidence in his shooting ability, and probably should've left his earlier effort from outside the box to the player beside him.

He should be fined whenever he shoots

I like him tho. He has his bad days but he is a very useful player to have.
