How? He only made one decent stop, Ramsey's effort that looked to come off his face. The rest of their chances apart from both goals they fluffed their lines and didn't test him.

The save with his feet from Campbell?

That's two more goals they could have scored when clean through at 2-0 up.

I cant believe some people actually thought we did enough to win. We had one chance of note in the first 80 minutes. It was a better performance than recently but Arsenal weren't great, had players missing and still won.

Come on mate, that was a piss poor shot from Campbell, my 87 year old granny would've saved that.

I didn't think we did enough to win but I certainly think we done enough to draw.

As for one chance of note, Silva had a chance very similar to Walcott's that he fluffed at the start. Aguero had two free headers from set pieces.

He's incredible, wouldn't swap him for any other. Whenever it's a 1 on 1 I'm always more confident in joe saving it then I am in the striker scoring. After all the garbage the rest of them have put in these past few weeks joe is now my new favourite player lol.

He must be absolutely furious how the team, not just the defence, leave him so unprotected.

Generous. He made one decent save where he smothered Ramsey and a couple of very routine stops, but he should have saved Giroud's goal. Two weeks in a row now he's let shots from narrow angles go straight through him. It's harsh, but he's the keeper, he's supposed to make saves.
Maybe he needs to review his goalkeeping technique in this area.
If the shot is from a narrow angle the attacker doesn't have much of the goal to aim for,so it's better to stand tall and keep your legs together , otherwise you give the attacker the opportunity to nutmeg you (Giroud) or to blast it over you ( Gomez). In the event that the attacker does find the gap between you and the post you can always use the De Gea technique of saving it with your feet.

He has been our player of the season for me and had Jack Butland not had an outstanding season so far Joe would be getting more praise in the media than he currently is.

He has kept our title dream alive in my opinion.

Had he not performed as he did against Gladbach away as well maybe top spot in the Champions League group probably wouldn't have happened.

One on one is only one aspect of goalkeeping though, arguably he could improve in the areas of dealing with crosses, distribution, long range shots ( Newcastle and W Ham at home).
