We kept 5 clean sheets because as a unit we were extremely solid in those games.
There's nothing ludicrous about noticing Zabaleta fits our attacking game more than Sagna. He's more comfortable on the ball, retains possession better and has a clearer understanding with Navas than Sagna.
Maybe my wording was wrong and I should have said Zabba is a better fit but Sagna is more than capable.
Whatever the wording there's no doubts for me that Zabaleta is the superior player.

Sagna has been excellent and got through a shed load of work, particularly in the Gladbach game prior to Newcastle.

For me he's currently first choice and Zaba has to earn his spot back, which is refreshing to see.
Yeah it's hard to disagree he deserves to keep his place. His performances have been highly impressive.
There's nothing wrong with having two good options and it's nice not having to panic too much if one or the other is out.

Sagna at the moment is first choice right back, and deservedly so, it'd be incredibly harsh to now play Zaba instead. Though with Kolarov's injury, we could easily see Sagna move to left back.

Assuming Kolarov is fit, Zaba may still play on Sat as it's prob not smart for Sagna to play 3 times in a week.

Zaba has the vision and the touch to play one twos with Silva up the opposition right flank. Watched the equaliser to the barcodes again, and it was such a finest artistry for a goal build up you'll ever see.

If Kolarov remains injured, Sagna or either Pablo should fill in.

It makes me sad to see Zab running through treacle like tonight :( Right decision to take him off.

Poor tonight. Doesn't look fit yet. Looks like he's about fifteen games behind the others in his legs.
