Why were the west brom fans booing him? Did he turn them down before he signed for us? Think it's going to be a tedious season of people booing him and making him out to be some type of pantomime villain.

If we had a player on the opposition team visit the Etihad that's upset the bin dippers as much as sterling has im sure he'd get 90 minutes applause followed by a 2 hour marathon Poznan after the game to show our appreciation of pissing such a horrible self important club like candle pool

They didn't boo him as much as I thought they would, iv'e noticed fans always boo players who have changed hands for big transfer fees at the start of every season. They soon stopped and they'll be kissing his arse again when he's in the England shirt.

Didn't think he played excellently last night but he showed flashes of brilliance and superb movement. First time iv'e seen him play in the flesh and I was really impressed with his runs off the ball, he'll have plenty of opportunities like the one he fluffed last night. He lost the ball a hell of a lot but i'll put that down to nerves and trying to hard. Natural for a youngster whose had to endure plenty of crap over the past couple of months. He'll have settled down by next month and he's going to be dynamite.

I think he had a decent debut and hope he's going to continue to develop an understanding with Kolarov. His pace will always worry defenders and he gives us pace upfront. Pity his attempt on goal was so poor last night but he'll get a lot more chances playing for us.

Think it's a pretty safe bet he will get a goal scoring chance per game at least and say he plays 45 games he will probably score a 3rd of them.
Last season in the league he scored 7 goals so I'd be ecstatic if he can bag 15 for us( that would put him on par with Hazard)

If this boy gets a little bit more confidence in fgront of goal and starts finishing he could be something special. he has great potential but at the moment he's a hair below Nasri in what he can bring for us.

He came over to give his shirt to a youngster in the crowd..... that youngster and her sister are my granddaughters!! He was determined that they would get the shirt even pushing the stewards out of the way to make sure the girls got the shirt. Nice gesture and as some will remember I have been one of his harshest critics but that was great. (& I would have said so even if they hadn't been my granddaughters.)
