Aaron Lennon was just as good as that age but he wasn't overhyped as he played for Spurs, not Liverpool.

Not basic enough for you to grasp that a right footed player is more comfortable dribbling on the right and add in the fact that sterling doesn't have the foot on him to cut inside to shoot , his job should be to beat his man and drill it across the box

A very good player but think he is suffering from the lack of a consistent side and tactics. I think the time to judge him will be next season. Don't get the obsession with the money we paid for him and still think he will turn out to be a very good buy.

Why would we loan out a £49m player? He needs being given a free role. The problem I have is he's constantly looking for Kolarov, he needs to use his own ability and beat men, take more responsibility like he did away at Sevilla.

Some of you have really got it in for Sterling haven't you?
Some very tough judgements on here so far with the odd 'wtf' thrown in for good measure.
The lad is doing ok. Not spectacular, not terrible, just a fairly good start to his career here, which has been about 5 months all told. Give the lad a fucking break. If you've got to aim you're anger at somebody I reckon there's at least four others who are in front of him who deserve it more.

It's a funny old world. If Sterling stayed at Liverpool and was playing under Klopp we'd sure as hell be watching a world class player.

Sterling is playing in a system which encourages pedestrian football. An explosive player like Sterling simply can not flourish in a system like that.
