One thing I will say is he does look like he goes down "sometimes" a little easy maybe.
I must admit to thinking he did do this when he was at Liverpool but I'm beginning to think it's actually just because he's so quick and his foot movement leaves the defenders dizzy. I hope it's not my Blue tinted specs that's changed my mind although I'll admit that it's always a possibility. He certainly didn't go down easy at any time yesterday as far as I remember.

Definitely dives. Worked at Liverpool and imo must have been encouraged. But he'll not trick anyone at City. He'll lose that soon enough and release his true ability.

Well impressed with Sterling.
He doesn't half work his butt off from the first minute. Not just a pacey wide boy. He tracks back quickly (making our left back position look secure) and then gives us multiple counter attacking options going forward. He totally transforms City.
WELL worth £49m on his first two showings.

Anyone in or near Block 329 yesterday? At one point some loon (not sure exactly where but seemed to be rear of 329) shouted abuse of the "you're not worth £49m" variety. He soon shut up. Just before I was going to shout back at him, too. And we all know how much mouthy young lads like being shouted at by middle-aged women ;-o

What a numpty.

Think he's been great personally, he's fit right in with Kolorov and Silva and I have no doubt he'll link up well with Aguero too over the next few weeks.

Other teams won't know who to double up on defensively in our attack As it is and can you imagine what it'll be like when we add De Bruyne to it? Frightening!!

I think Sterling has given the whole team a boost, especially Navas and Kolarov.

Navas now has the benefit of not being the only wide player with pace and expected to be our outlet on every counter attack. Sterling takes that pressure off him, while also stretching the defence and opening up more space.

Then Kolarov has clearly enjoyed a bit of support in defence and is no way near as exposed.
