This lad has impressed me so much, not because he is scoring and assisting goals left, right and centre, but because he is the number one reason for some absolutely amazing form from Alex Kolarov. Knowing he has a player in front of him who is willing to work his bollocks off to cover while he goes forward has given Kola a new lease of life.

Wait til he gets completely comfortable and starts to chip in with goals....mouth watering.

Kolarov has to love having an offensive weapon like Sterling to play in front of him. That, along with Raheem willing to track back has allowed him to get involved in the attack more and he has been huge in that department.

The thing I've been most impressed by is his football intelligence, he seems to be on the same wavelength as Silva and is linking up with him better each game.

What I like the most is he doesn't go hiding. When he is being marked out of the game by two players and things aren't going his way he just keeps working his arse off and he got his reward today.

He's an immature kid and he's this good.

This lad's ceiling is potentially in the very highest echelons in our team

Doing ok, want to see some improvement from him infront of goal though, his build up play is no different to what it was with Suarez and co at Liverpool 18 months ago, he's young and I want to see him improving his weaknesses. I'm not sure he has in the last year so hopefully it starts soon, for that price he's going to be expected to contribute goals when the going gets tough.

He's going to have to learn that he won't get the free kicks and penalties at City that he would have got at Liverpool. Once he accepts that, I think he'll be a better player.

Great interview from Pelle on Sky. Also Big Sam is very watchable , giving insight into what goes on towards end of the transfer deadlines. Would be good if he carried on so we could get more of an insight into whatbeing a Manager is like.

His pass for Kolarov was magnificent, but you could tell it wasn't a one-off because he did that type of pass for Silva's chance when he hit the post.

It's been 3 games, 3 games and he's already taken a big part of Silva's game in the pass inside the full back into his own game. Imagine what he could do after a whole season when he's playing alongside Silva, Aguero and Yaya.
