We are missing him at the moment , his slightly more direct style and his 1-2's with Yaya unlocked games like those we have played recently. In games like the Leicester one he is the player who could have done something different and turned the point in to 3. He is a player who should be so much better than he is but I would love to see work with Pep!

That's an interesting point. Samir is a highly skilled footballer, who sometimes has an attitude problem. For his raw talent, he does underperform for us too often. He's exactly the kind of player Pep could turn around.

Not really. He fucked off Deco as one of the first things he did at Barca and he was twice the player Nasri is. Same for Ronaldinho. I've no idea where this myth that Pep likes lazy technical players with questionable attitudes comes from? If anything, he's shown the complete opposite and is very keen to get rid of the big ego's, regardless of talent.

This, he's not worth it anyway way to inconsistent and lazy for our system

spot on

I don’t think Nasri has a future with us. He was a great acquisition at the time and has played his part in the success since. However, he has not kicked on in terms of his all round game and he was never the quickest of players, if he loses any of the pace he had and continues to lack discipline then I just don’t see where he fits in. I would suggest both Silva and KDB are better playmakers / passers of the ball and Sterling is a more effective wide player. It is only Navas who I think he could replace but that would be a big step down in pace. All of Sterling, KDB and Navas are more reliable defensively.

1 Nevilles revenge for Samir telling United and Bobby wrapover to do one I'm joining city, 2 that arsehole pardew encouraging that assault and I mean assault on Samir at Newcastle which the injury he hasn't fully recovered from 3 the amount of people who believe the big sky four media witch hunt against Samir, he's a fabulous player if he comes back fit in the next few weeks he will be the spark we need for the titles we are hoping for. I really do not understand the hatred for a player who has helped our club to create achievements ?

well. he tracks back a ton more than KDB I feel. all being said, tracking back doesn't make a player

Might be an unpopular opinion (especially after today's win) but we have missed Nasri, at times, this season.

I never liked the purchase, I thought we were ripped off. But on the balance, he is a pretty good player. Great in possession, fantastic movement off the ball, and hustles more than he gets credit for. Not a very energetic player going forward, and his topspeed isn't great. But he is a quality role player.

Yes I agree.

Ripped off? 24m wasn't it?

Pretty good price imo. Considering the form he was in before we purchased him also, was excellent in the season before we bought him.

I like Nasri, will be interesting to see if he is still here in the summer.

I want to see Nasri in a Pep system. His on and off ball skills plus movement in attack should shine with Pep, IMO.

I've been far from an advocate of his but I think we've missed him at times this season. Hopefully he's back soon.

Even if he returns this season, I rather fear he's missed too much football to be anywhere near as effective as he has previosly been.

I tot 24 million was too much for a player with 1 year left. And seeing how they bad ripped us on Toure and Adebayor, I wasn't really bid on getting another player from Arsenal. Besides, I though Mata would have been a way better fit, seeing as he already had a relationship withour Silva, and it was clear his club wanted to move him.

So I was annoyed we spent a great portion of the summer overpaying for another Arsenal player when we could have easily gone for Mata.
