I actually thought he was better today than he has been recently. Missed a couple of decent opportunities, but his all round play was OK.

Don't think he suits our system, but he's clearly a talented player. I suspect he'll be the one to make way for Bony in the CL squad though, if he signs, and can see him leaving in the summer. His stock is still high in Italy, so think there will be potential suitors if we let him go.

thats the thing though, you simply dare not miss those chances whilst chasing a title, nevas was as bad. both very good players but manchester city are better than very good.

Spot on IMO. Good player has the technique but does not suit our team, especially if we play one up as I can't see where he would play

Surely kolarov will be dropped from the cl squad or even edin? Jovetic although frustrating when up front can offer something more creative alongside silva etc. Jovetic is not a striker!!!

Not a striker, but brought in to score goals as an attacking midfield player.

He hasn't made the grade.

Does some nice things during a game, and can offer that something different. Overall though, I can't get past the number of times he gives the ball away, or the amount of moves that end with him trying and failing to beat a defender. Finishing isn't up to scratch either for me.
This could also be my opinion on Navas.

Very talented player, but i think he'll leave this summer, when everyone is fully fit he isn't good enough to displace anyone from our team. I can see a move back to serie a on the cards.

Extremely frustrating as there is a decent player in there, however, this is 18 months in, no clear upward correlation in minutes on the pitch, goals scored or reduction in injuries can be seen.....

He's not sharp enough in thought if you ask me, the top players sense opportunity and exploit it, he tends to wait for it or holds the ball far to selfishly at times... He, as was stated very early on, is suited perfectly to the italian game....

You want these players to succeed but we can't hang around on this, nothing suggests he can adapt or overcome the injury problems!!!

we have always played him on the left or as an attacker. I would love to see him start on the right ahead of Navas, I am sure he would make a good account of himself.
