Player Topic: Wilfried Bony (2014/15)

Far too early to judge his quality and potential as he needs to settle into our system, but I AM concerned by his work rate. We need to defend from the front but clearly nobody has told Wilfred that yet!!

^^ This,he has not moved from being in Yaya jog mode, hope he can up his work rate as he gets more used to his new team mates.

For fuck sake are we really doing this again? Every single time a new player joins he's already a mistake within two games. It took Silva about 3 months before he looked decent.

The guy has had about 60 mins of football, one in a game we were already out of site and the team just knocked it about taking it easy, the other where we were down to ten min for the majority of his time on the pitch.

It's quite clearly about 6 months too early to judge him either way but, try talking sense to a clown.

Expensive Benjani...mark my words. Good at a small pond, that's it for his lot. As with my earlier comments on Fernando Jovetic Fernandinho Navas and Mangala you can quote me. Nothing against them but Spurs/Everton (except Fernando who is championship at best) level players they are at max nothing more, so I don't expect anything more

So those would be some of the signings that won us a double last season then. Mangala has a 70% win ratio with VK and Bony has 20 mins in a match we are winning 5-0 with our creative players taken off and 20 mins against Barca when we are down to 10 men. Slagging off half our squad is raggish. Look at the Squad of Bayern and Barca. They have some efficient but not outstanding players.

Oh no please don't call me a rag just because I don't change my opinion on what I've always felt about a player as soon as we sign him, if we signed Barkley in the summer for over 15million I'd think we are paying over the odds for a average player that will sit on our bench (again), I won't suddenly proclaim him to be the greatest and superb value...just as if we signed Reus for 30million I would think we were getting good value top quality player that improves the first eleven.

Not calling Rag on this one but your version of 'support' for the team is more akin to what I see on the Cafe. And we have not 'failed' on the grand scale if things. Your sense of entitlement is what I dislike.

Typical City fans, we've done this since time began. Goater was one of the most blasted players we had and he did ok. Dzeko has had despite winning us two league titles, and now Benjani, sorry Bony, is having it after a massive 60 minutes of football.
