If we play him is a 4-4-2 alongside Sterling or Aguero then we will see just how good he is.

Would love to see a heat map for Bony today
No, we won't. His level is so obviously lower than what we are striving for. I wish he would even look fucking interested for once, appears to have an attitude on him.
I can't even defend him anymore, let alone that our club officials spunked the best part of 30 fucking million pounds.
Oh you are awful. Here you go....
...That is all.
And what level is that?
We want a striker who can score goals week in week out in the PL and Bony has proved he can do that.
Bony is not a mobile striker, never has been and never will be. We knew that before we signed him so expecting him to make constant runs is not going to happen.
Maybe if he is the target man and we have the likes of Sterling, Ageuro and KDB running off him and exploiting the space, it could bring out the best in him. At the moment though, I don't see any player willing to make a run ahead of him so we are utilising him in a manner which does not suit him.
It's the equivalent of entering a Formula 1 car in a rally circuit race. You cannot expect to get the most out of a player if you are not playing him to his strengths.
This is becoming an all to frequent problem with our signings. We sign Sterling, a fast and skilful winger but encourage him to play it safe and keep the ball. We sign KDB and expect him to be like Silva. If we are going to pay the big bucks on players then at least play them to their strengths.
He's a mid-table striker. I'd be fucking seething if we went and spent £20+ million on Vardy because he's proved he can score 20+ goals in the top flight over a couple of seasons at 27/28 years old. Exactly like we have with Bony.
