So wrong. Can't prove it with stats though.

i don't get it.... are you doing the "you cannot prove a negative" because that does not work with numbers... numbers are in all that you do and they are pretty good at proving 'truths'... well.... unless you are a philosopher then this is a much different conversation...
 
i am not sure i understand the underlined statement... football is all about stats and numbers specially championships: the winner, the best players, the top goal scorer etc.. how can stats then not tell the truth?

I said I wouldn't come back on Yaya's performance so let's talk generically here.

Stats don't give the whole picture or tell the full truth - and especially when quoted selectively to support a pre-determined position. Fortunately, most of us are blessed with a pair of eyes too.
 
He's been good the past few games minus 75 minutes against Arsenal, not all criticism is unwarranted but I'm so gonna miss him when he one day moves on, he does a lot of quality stuff that people don't praise him for as they've just gotten used to it.
