I fully appreciate your points but whatever team you pick that has Yaya Toure in it is a risk and a compromise, meaning any form of consistency is impossible.
In home games against weaker opposition who show very little or no attacking intent that's a justifiable risk. In away games and in games against stronger opposition who are good enough to exploit any weaknesses we have, Yaya's lack of mobility, intensity and stamina are killing us defensively and its a risk we just don't have to take. Having him on the bench as a gamble to bring on with 10-15 minutes is the best option to minimise risk and maximise his effectiveness.
And I never said I wanted us to play like Leicester, it was to illustrate my point that goals come in many different ways. There's a time and place to play fancy football and there's a time and place to win games ugly, we just need to find the right balance without exposing our glaring vulnerabilities.
