Not really. I put the gifs up because I enjoy them. I won't argue the point that his form hasn't been good, but neither has that of a lot of players and the team as a whole. What I object to is the vitriol that is aimed at him, and it is pointless trying to discuss some of the finer points as some on here just hate the player - that I absolutely can't understand.

Damn! Some of us here need to calm down. This is Yaya, our own Yaya - the guy who scored 20 goals in one season for us, the guy who led us to the FA cup final , the guy who played a very important role in the 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 season. I Know he has an attitude problem but the criticism here is OTT. Yaya was one of the top 3 performers for the team and still remains a very important part of the team.

Always believed he's bigger than anything in the world let alone Manchester City Football Club. Yes he's had moments of brilliance but when he leaves he won't leave an imprint in my memory as a City great.

Ever since he first came in he only ever used to show up when he felt like it, and as the years have gone by those times he's bothered to turn up have got less and less. What I watched at Everton this Wednesday from him was honestly like watching someone crawling out of the pub after 15 pints and trying to play a game it was in my eyes one of the worst performances I have seen from an individual since our takeover.

Exactly. And those who think Yaya can do a job as a centre back again are kidding themselves. Not looking to go back into an overdrawn Yaya debate but seriously, go back and watch any match of him playing for Barca. Going to get labeled as a "body language expert" but he was completely different for them with regards to his pressing game and work rate. A total guess but I think this was a requirement that he wasn't happy with which led to him leaving.
