He would only make a twat of himself given the numerous quotes of how much he loves the club and the fans and wants to spend the rest of his career here.

I will always appreciate what he has done for us and he was a remarkable, world class talent but not so long ago we could have cashed in and its a lesson to those running the club imo. yes FFP was busy biting but big clubs sell big players at big times and its something we must not be frightened of doing going forward.

The team must always come before individuals.
spot on

Yaya is a legend at our club and one of the icons of the premier league however we are in danger of letting his reputation impact team selection when it is pretty clear to see that his lack of mobility/fitness is becoming a problem for the way the team functions. Over the years he used to boss the midfield at the same time as being a great passer of the ball and goal creator / scorer. The passing and control is still there but the rest of his game is hot and cold now. I get the impression he does not take well to being dropped or subed but I would be very tempted to restrict him to once a week and more importantly I would move him on this summer – without fail! We need to move on to move on to a new post Yaya era and keeping him around prevents that from happening.

I await the day when Toure hangs this club out to dry out of damaged ego or malice.

I suspect headlines of 'You'll never be United" to accompany his exit.

Bony, also, when he fucks off.

I fear he will lose his legend status when he leaves and opens his mouth, maybe we should move him in house to New York maybe.

He could still have a significant role and be part of a squad that wins trophies this season, but that will only happen if he accepts a limited number of minutes and gives more in those minutes.

There were games particularly the big domestic games where Yaya wold just dominate the opposition and there was nothing they could do to stop him

It's the 'Yaya must play' ethos which has been evident with both managers, which has led to the criticism imo. Even if he's fucked, most of the time he will still play & often now in a key position, with little cover, doing a job he would have struggld to do, 6 years ago .

I really don't understand this. Never have.

Yaya or his agent badmouthing the club or certain people at the club when he leaves is pretty much a certainty. Such a shame that someone who has done so much on the pitch for us has managed to tarnish his reputation by opening his big mouth so often.
Have the club got anything to worry about if he starts mouthing off to the press? or will it just be his usual whine about us not brushing our teeth or using mouthwash before we kiss his arse?

I thought we were always struggling in the Champions League games where teams like Dortmund and Bayern played at a pace we couldn't handle. Didn't matter when we were dominating domestically. We can still dominate domesctically, but I am convinced we can not do it with Toure as a permanent fixture in the side. We should be managing his games better.

We are predicting that the player and agent will kick off at a reduced role, but maybe we should wait and see

Strange the hatred for yaya even to invent headlines in your mind for when he is gone??

Unfortunately I think the agent will be working on Yaya for the next 6 months trying to wind him up to say something which will burn his bridges at City. Notwithsatanding that happening, I don't feel it's a forgone conclusion that Pep will replace him. But i don't think there's a cat in hells chance Pep will use Yaya in anything like the same setup as Pellegrini & Mancini sometimes have.
