Can we all now agree he's not a lazy cnut but does manage his game to conserve energy....?

Yes we all can. Maybe most of us want to see a cracking Yaya for 45-60 mins instead of being frustrated by watching a passenger for 95 mins. That means Yaya simply has to put in more effort and that the manager will sub him when he is flat. He will then get a huge applause for his effort and for his big African pride. There is no point of discussion. Club success and team first. Ask Pep.
Yaya may play for MCFC. MCFC won't play for Yaya. Take it, big man.

Funny how it's always the defensive responsibilities he shirks, then goes on to sprint up the pitch two minutes later. Just saying... but no he's not a lazy **** at all, haha!!

I'm sticking with lazy. If he pulls out a sleeping bag in the centre circle and has a kip for the first half I don't think I'd notice. Conserving energy!? We should conserve his wage until he shifts his chunky arse and disowns that bloated testicle of an agent, if only for the fact that he dresses like a third rate 80s coke dealer with a gob like a Whitworth Street sinkhole.

Ok, I don't feel that strongly about Yaya - Seluk could have his diaphragm punctured by Ron Jeremy as far as I'm concerned - but the upsetting part is that Toure could have left 18 months ago and be universally remembered as one of our best players of all time.

He's obviously still up there - as plenty will no doubt remind me - but his attitude and work rate leave a lot to be desired and he's shitting on his own legacy the longer he stays.

Plenty will disagree and tell me how much better they are at supporting the club than me but come on, the debate wouldn't have even been on this thread a year ago and surely that's a sign something's up other than nasty Manuel playing him too often.

If mp agrees with him that he plays less minutes to enable him to perform better and not to conserve his energy we might get more out of him, just a thought.Would he go for that, only he knows

Clearly the big man covers some distance...but it's at pretty much a canter for the 90 mins.

Delph has some engine and I'm pleasantly surprised by Nasri's sprint numbers...didn't expect that!

You have to put it in context mate, in regards Nasri, he's started 1 league game this season and come on in 6. If he didn't spend most of his time sprinting when he comes on with fresh legs then there's a problem.

Fair enough with regards to Nasri. Also points to the benefit of fresh legs and resting Yaya/bringing him on for short bursts...would be interesting to see this stat for the last 3 seasons

On top of that they were all right at the beginning of the season. I bet if you did this only for August or September I bet Yaya's sprints per 90 would be much higher.
