Good game from the big man. Had the freedom in the centre to run some good ball circulation in the middle third, giving our attacks more cohesion. We had some decent spells out of possession where pressure was consistently applied to the ball-carrier in our half and he worked well in those spells.

Although we didn;t get the three points tonight due to poor finishing and another great defensive away performance from Everton... this game shows that we can still get a well-rounded performance from this era's most influential city player. We just have to use him intelligently.

I don't mind him playing 60 mins here and there, but when it's must win and we need midfielders joining in with the forwards to break EFC's back line and someone like De Bruyne is going off something is wrong.

Fernando or Otamendi can pass it wide to Sagna, Navas, Sterling etc. He does that well and accurately but in the final third he isn't doing enough, meanwhile players like Sterling who can be very dangerous for us are stuck wide. ANd Inchy is on the bench. I don't think the players believe in what we're doing at the moment.
