I'm pretty sure we've got some coming up soon with some being on (relatively) big money - off the top of my head

2013
RSC - 90k
Bridge - 90k
MJ - 40k?
Kolo - 100k?
Boyata - 10k?

2014
Tevez? - 180k?
Barry? - 120k?

Is that it? Anyone I've missed?

Roughly £600k/week, seeing as 4 of those 7 basically haven't played for us for 2-3 years could we be looking at getting in 3-4 first team players or would that be too expensive on the payroll if we assume a first team starter would be £25m and £120-150k/week wages?

Is Barry not on 85 grand I'm sure it was said that he only got 5 grand more than the double your wages he was offered at Liverpool. He was one of the first who I genuinely thought came because he saw us as his best option rather than just the money

No idea about his wages but a guy that see him now and then told me that what really made Barry happy was winning the league..He never really expected that

Lescott's also expires in June '14. Both he and Barry will be asked to take pay cuts if they're to stay IMO, Soriano is cost-cutting and Silva's contract structure is a preview of the future and of how Barcelona do their contracts.

what was different about silvas contract?

Lower basic wage but better bonus related contract.

I'm only going by the newspapers here but because they match exactly what is Soriano's style (it was in his book) I believe it. Which is a lower basic wage that is topped up by incentive-based clauses. I believe it said Silva is on £120,000/week basic that gets topped up to around £198,000 (the top earner bracket) depending on results and other incentives. In theory it keeps players motivated and hungry.
