Petrov is definitely missed. His consistancy makes him my choice for best player last season.

Definitely our most missed player this season.
Although if i think back to how good Johnson was at the beginning of last season then it would be difficult to say which player we miss more.

Johnson was showing real progress but from the rumours seems his head has fell off he will be forgotten come the new signings. Can't see him playing regular games at city again. Elano has been missing for best part of 12 months and needs to go next month. I miss Petrov the most but he will be back next season back on form can't wait.

I dont know if Johnson will ever come back and be a regular in the team again. Hes the new Sicknote of the league. Yes he started last season well but when he came back from his injury he has done little or nothing. I dont know how he managed to get a new deal this season as it doesn't look like he is anywhere near ready to play for the team why give him a new contract he has to prove he deserves a new contract. A player that should be looking at getting a better deal is Ireland the lad has proved he is priceless the club should sort him out a new deal now before he comes looking for it.
As for Petrov yes he is a big lost to the team. He gives so much to the attacking side and is direct unlike Robhino it would give the team a better balance and if he was fit we wouldn't be were we are now.

The only good thing regarding Johnsons's new contract if he can get playing again, the contract would secure a resonable transfer price.

Agreed, with him in the squad we could be wthin the top 8 now
