There's a TV channel here (South Africa) that shows classic sports matches from the past. All sports, but mainly football and rugby.
Yesterday they showed England vs. Czechoslovakia from 1974, with players like Hughs, Hunter, Bell, Keegan, Channon and Brooking.
Bell scored two goals and generally had class written all over him, but there were some really great players in that team, especially Channon and Brooking.
My point - apart from stating the obvious - do none of the stars from that era have sons that have inherited their footballing genes ?
