Perhaps just a feature of common letters in European languages, but we really do have a lot of players with a name starting with S,D, or M.

Sterling, Stones, Silva x2, Sergio, Sané
De Bruyne, Delph, Danilo, Diaz
Mendy, Ederson Moraes, Muric, Mahrez, Mangala (okay, straining a bit there...)

Wonder if there has ever been a top-flight side where all the players had a name starting with the same letter. Or any City sides with similar...

Plenty of times inn the past I've heard shouts of "you're all shit" at our players. Don't think shit was their surname though
